Who We Are

At Erin's Hope For Friends Kentucky, we're on a mission to create lasting relationships through joyful interactions for neurodivergent individuals across the Bluegrass. Our weekly e’s Club programs improve the quality of our members' lives by reducing social isolation (for them and their families!), building confidence in a safe space, and celebrating their neurodiversity and individual differences. Our outreach events and community partnerships also build acceptance, appreciation, and support throughout our community.

What We Do

Erin’s Hope For Friends Kentucky hosts weekly social events in our e’s Club Lexington location off Newtown Pike and our e’s Club Louisville location inside Bluegrass Center for Autism’s Fern Creek site. We also host community-wide events and parties for all ages and abilities.

 

Our member events occur every weekend - we’re only closed three weekends a year!

How It Works

Our community-wide events are open to anyone - all ages and abilities can attend! We encourage families to attend these events together to build their community.

 

Our members-only events occur each weekend and are for neurodivergent individuals who are eager to attend and able to stay safely in our space. These events have a low ratio of staff & volunteers to members. Our staff and volunteers ensure everyone’s safety and assist in navigating tricky situations. Parents can remain onsite in a parent room or can enjoy some time on their own. Members are able to move freely throughout our space, and are self-directed during our events.

 

Membership is free! Participants pay a fee to attend each event. Scholarships are available.

Our e’s Club Lexington and Louisville locations are designed with our members in mind! Here are some features our members enjoy:

 

Video Game Consoles, including a Wii, PlayStation, Switch, and More! All games are multi-player.

Snacks! We provide a variety of snack & drink options.

Art! Our art area includes a variety of supplies and display shelves to show off your creations!

Board Games & Puzzles! Our game cabinet is well-stocked so we have something for everyone!

Movement Games, like ping pong, basketball, & air hockey.

Chill-Ville! An area to delight your senses and calm your nerves.

 

Special Events! We love to do themed weekends, including karaoke, silent disco, movie nights, and more!

We believe in proactive prevention of bullying through safe, social environments.

We believe in fostering awareness for both neurotypical and neurodiverse populations.

We believe just one friendship can change the course of one’s life.

We believe in promoting the acceptance of all individuals.
